Something we talk a lot about inside Keepsake HQ is getting the perfect baby casting which may not be as easy as you think. Not only do you have to worry about getting the mould to cover each and every finger and toe but you need to ensure the baby doesn’t wriggle at a crucial moment (easier said than done!) or then when pouring in the specialist casting stone that you don’t miss and finger or toe which even the most established casters can experience.

The key is to take time in each part of the process and to allow yourself a few goes. Ensure your baby is nice and calm with someone on hand to distract them if they get upset.
When pouring in the stone ensure you do this slowly too as rushing will introduce more air bubbles causing you a very large headache.
If you are new to baby casting and are worried about getting the perfect baby casting then we really would recommend visiting a local baby casting professional who has trained and practiced more than feasibly possible for a new mum and who will ensure you truly do get the perfect baby casting which will be in your family for years to come.
