We send a very high grade fingerprint putty out to you so you can take the print at home and then pop it back to us so we can work our magic in our keepsake studio.
The process of creating fingerprint jewellery takes a lot of practice and skill which is why you should not rush into buying from just anyone. There are many sites online who use the photos of others work in order to get orders and yet still have not mastered the basics so produce substandard results. We have even heard of companies who use pen on their charms to increase the details which only wears off with in the day. Your neatest artist will either be able to take your fingerprint for you or they can use the mould you send them via a very easy to use and mess free kit. When they have created the fingerprint charm they can then lovingly recreate it into the fine silver developing either a necklace, a locket, a bracelet or a set of cufflinks for the special men in your life.
Finger print jewellery, or sometimes referred to as thumbprint jewellery, takes about 2 weeks to create although depending on workloads it can be fast tracked in a few days. There are sometimes surcharges for this.
You can also buy your charm in a range of shapes (usually circle, square, oval, star, flower, heart …) and sizes (little, medium, large). You can pick to have your name on the front, on the back or no name atall … infact you can develop your silver fingerprint beauty to look anyhow you wish. You might even design a bespoke shape on paper and ask your artist to produce something totally unique to you.
