Recommended age for Finger Print Jewellery

We suggest waiting until your child is 6 months old prior to working with their print as this is when the print properly establishes. However some children, or even grownups, don’t have detailed prints which becomes part of their individuality. We do have clients who choose to have jewellery produced for children under 6 months old as it is still a distinct dimple but there just might be extremely little detail on the piece.  If you are worried please chat to your keepsake artist about it and maybe do a test print prior to continuing with your order. If your little one is under 6 months we would typically recommend opting for handprint jewellery but it actually is your decision.
