The Keepsake Co was born in 2002 and is my little baby who I have personally nurtured from the beginning. By offering exceptional personal customer service through to offering a unique and diverse product range you can rest assured you have come to the right place to create your precious keepsakes. Being one of the first Keepsake Companies in the UK we have an excellent track record with lots of experience in creating special keepsakes for families around the world.

Not only do we supply a range of personalised baby gifts, Christening gifts and keepsakes but we also train others around the world to start their own creative businesses including passing on our vast experience in this market to help others offer keepsakes in their own local area.

Starting The Keepsake Co has enabled me to follow my dreams and passions while learning many lessons along the way. I have met some amazing people and enjoyed exploring the many paths that running a business can open to you. You really could do the same if you felt you wanted to take a ‘different’ path to the one you are on now.

The Keepsake Co is made up of a small friendly team which includes me, Victoria, and our very friendly Suzie Sheep who helps pack the orders. We also have Simone who keeps our accounts in order, Richard who is our website genius and Paul who helps dreams come true by helping people design their perfect business. With this in mind when ever you deal with The Keepsake Co you are guaranteed a personal response which you would expect from a small local company – even if you are contacting us from the other side of the world.

Baby Casting Kits

Baby Casting is one of the most traditional forms of keepsakes and is still one of my favourites. It allows you to capture every single detail of your little one's hands and feet in exact detail. Details captured during the lifecasting process include skin texture, nail detail and any unique positionings of toes and fingers. Lifecasting typically uses alginate and some form of casting material (traditionally plaster). Alginate is the same material used by dentists to take moulds of your teeth but we tend to use it in a slightly different way. You can use alginate to cast baby hands and feet but you can also capture belly castings, adult hands and even face casting! Infact you can capture almost anything using these lifecasting techniques as long as you prepare properly. We have a have a wide range of baby casting kit options available to you from framed to unframed to simply providing the alginate and refills if you already know what you are doing.
