Tiny Toerags is our first husband and wife run keepsake business. Set up in Bolton by Stacy and Paul, they run the company together, fitting their business commitments around shift work.
Here Stacy explains more about them and their new business:
“We decided to opt for a keepsake business as I just love personalised gifts, in particular items regarding children. I love all the products in the range, and just believe that other people love them as much as me. We did some research and The Keepsake Company seemed to be the perfect solution. It would allow me to learn how to make the products, with the added support and help in relation to the business side of things. I can commit what time I have to it, at my own speed and pace. As a shift worker I can’t commit so many hours every day, and need to be flexible. This business allows that.
“I’ve so far found it difficult and challenging, but extremely rewarding when you make something that you like. It can be like a light bulb moment when you suddenly “get” a product. You very quickly upskill in many areas, accountancy, social media, website, craft making. You will discover skills about yourself you didn’t know you had.
“Our future plans are to try to establish ourselves a bit more. Get our name out, become a name people recognise and have heard of. We’re already thinking about Christmas in the hope that business takes off from there.”
We’re delighted to have Tiny Toerags as part of our keepsake family. Here are just some of the amazing things they’ve been making.
