First Christmas Keepsakes

I wanted to suggest that footprints (just simply done with
paint & card) are a real treasure for your kids - if you do them every
year you can see how they have grown. I've been keeping them in the Xmas
decorations box.
I also kept a memory/record book for my daughter's 1st Xmas and wrote down
all the things we did in the run up to the big day - such as visit a local
farm to pick up our Xmas turkey, have a party at our toddler group etc.
Now that I have kids I really want to create some regular family traditions
- and writing it down seemed to help that.
Each year I have also let my daughter choose a new decoration for the tree.
Just emailing this has got me all Xmassy!
