Hallmarking is simply confirmation that your finished piece is 99.9% silver. This will also increase the lead time for the jewellery by an additional 10 working days. Fine Silver Vs Sterling SilverAll pieces of fingerprint jewellery are made from 99.9% fine silver rather than sterling silver. This simply means that it contains less of the other metals that give sterling silver its strength. , i.e. it is a purer metal. With this in mind fine silver will show surface wear and tear more quickly than sterling silver and should be looked after with care. Fingerprint Jewellery Age RangeWe can create fingerprint jewellery for any aged child or adult. We however recommend not creating a piece of fingerprint jewellery for a child under 6 months old as their fingerprint will be fairy undefined. Saying this there would still be a dimple which belongs to your little one if you can't wait! The other option would be to capture their hand or foot print on the jewllery which can be done from birth. View the handprint jewellery here There is no upper age limit on the fingerprint jewellery - so why limit it to the children! Makes a lovely wedding present! Bespoke Designed Fingerprint JewelleryIf you have a specific idea in mind of how you would like your fingerprint jewellery to look then please do contact us to see if it will be possible. We can be fairly flexible with the design. Fingerprint Jewellery PackagingAll of our fingerprint jewellery will be returned via a first class recorded service and will be presented in a black The Keepsake Co. branded jewellery box. If you would like us to include a little gift card then we would be happy to do this at no additional charge. |
