I love technology – I really do! It has allowed us to train internationally without any expensive travelling costs or hassle!

Madhuri joined as an International Keepsake Artist a few weeks back and has now received her silver figerprint jewellery starter kit allowing us to crack on with the training. Madhuri is based in Melbourne, Australia ad we started our remote fingerprint jewellery training session today. So watch this space for when she reaches accreditation and you will be able to join in this amazing craze too!
We had a quick session today to run through capturing the fingerprint so she can capture her sons thumprint tonight ready for our session tomorrow. Tomorrow we will go through making the actual charm in silver clay which is my favourite bit
So it will not be long before she is ready!
I really do love this silver keepsake and is so precious and I love showing others how to make it for their community too – especially when it is on the other side of the world!
Welcome Madhuri to The Keepsake Co team

Fingerprint and Footprint Jewellery in Bronze
Wow we have had some wonderful new bronze samples in from one of our talented Keepsake Artsits and can not wait until we add them to our website for you all to see. It almost looks like gold but is made out of bronze so is really hard wearing. Perfect for those with active jobs or like me spend alot of time outside. Bronze fingerprint jewellery also makes a fantastic keyring as you can make them bigger and will not dent so easily in your bag with knocking against the hard keys .
I love the handprint bronze jewellery too (probably my favourite form) and Caroline has done some lovely samples with all different styles which would just not be possible in silver as the price would be prohibative.
So keep your eyes peeled for out big bronze jewellery launch

Fingerprint Jewellery Necklace New Design
I have just been designing some new fingerprint jewellery designs including something very unique. This fingerprint necklace has movement and will really capture attention. It has a little fingerprint inside a circle containing a short message or name. Something very special for a special new mum. I have also been re photographing all of our jewellery from before so it is all presented on a nice white background – don’t you think it shows up the fingerprint detail even more!
If you have a special idea for a piece of fingerprint jewellery then please let me know and you could name the jewellery design after you!

Did you know it is possible to learn to make your own fingerprint jewellery for fun or for profit. We run a range of studio and online fingerprint jewellery courses showing you everything you need to know to make stunning silver

An example of the sort of fingerprint jewellery you can make
jewellery featuring your little one’s fingerprint in every detail (depending on their age of course!)
We can show you how to make your own little fingerprint charm making it even more special. You can also turn this into a personalised jewellery business where you can make fingerprint charms, bracelets and fingerprint cufflinks for local parents.
Both our online and studio fingerprint jewellery courses cover the following
- Taking your fingerprints
- Transferring your fingerprint onto the silver clay
- Creating the fingerprint charm
- Personalising your fingerprint charm
- Setting birth stones in your silver fingerprint jewellery
- Preparing your fingerprint charm for firing
- Firing your fingerprint jewellery in 3 different ways
- Polishing your fingerprint jewellery
- Soldering fingerprint cufflinks
A lot of people wonder whether the virtual classroom will be as effective as actually being there – well I think it could be even better. Obviously everyone has different learning styles but I think the benefits of learning remotely are as follows:
- You do not get distracted by a class members – I am sure we have all been there when there is one person that dominates the room and you find it hard to concentrate. By working at home you are fully in control and get quiet time by yourself in between lessons where you turn off all the chatter and concentrate on making your fingerprint jewellery.
- You use your own kit in your own home. When you leave a studio course you have been learning with someone else’s kit which may differ slightly. By starting with your very own kit you are sure to hit the ground running with no nasty surprises.
- This is not a simple video course where you are left to it – this is a fully interactive courses where you have a tutor available all day to talk you through the steps with back up videos for you to watch as a reference.
- You learn from other class mates mistakes – by learning via a simple video course you are not benefiting from any class interaction. By learning in a virtual classroom you can pick up on any mistakes others make so you can learn not to make the same mistakes yourself.
Obviously some people prefer learning in a class room as they love the face to face element. One downside of attending your fingerprint jewellery course online is that it is tricky for you to show the tutor the detail of what you are doing but with images, descriptions and close ups we normally find a way around this.
By learning fingerprint jewellery online I really do not think you loose anything – we have never had a person not make a successful charm at the end of one of our courses and we are happy to work with you after the course to ensure you get it right if needs be.
Saying all of this, if you live near enough to travel to a studio course then we would love to see you! We keep all our courses small to eliminate too many course distractions but you still get to work along side other people looking to set up a fingerprint jewellery business.
So whichever learning style you choose – you have definitely come to the right place. We started selling fingerprint jewellery nearly 4/5 years ago so have a vast experience in not only making fine silver personalised jewellery but in marketing it successfully.
Why not phone us today to ask about our fingerprint jewellery and keepsake business opportunities and start loving what you do! Or you can download your creative business pack.
With love
Suzie The Sheep xx
PS: Wish I could make the jewellery myself but my hooves will not allow it! I am just too clumsy

We love Danielle Brown and she loves The Keepsake Co too!
Perhaps best known for being the sibling of superstar Ex Spice Girl Mel B is a star in her own right having appeared on Emmerdale and dabbling in children’s presenting too! She recently signed up to Peter Andre’s management company so the future looks bright for this lovely mummy of two.
We’ve just created these name tags for Danielle’s lovely little people Mimi and Hendrix and we’ll soon be adding fingerprint charms to her necklace too. When she saw the name tags Danielle said “What a lovely gift, thank you so much!” – we really hope she will love the fingerprint charms too… we’ll let you know!
