Our Social Media Manager's little boy when he was a bit littler! 
We are proud to announce that we are launching a new competition to find the new ‘Face of The Keepsake Co’!
We are looking for the perfect little person to come on board who encapsulates the magic, creativity and fun of The Keepsake Co.
We are about to re-launch The Keepsake Co in March with some fantastic new products, services and business opportunities! To help us with this re-launch we need a new beautiful baby face!
We’ll be doing this every 6 months or so to keep the website fresh and to give as many people as possible the opportunity to join in so if you don’t win this time, please do enter again next time and it could be you!
The winner will win:
· A professional photo shoot with a fantastic photographer.
· £100 worth of keepsake jewellery.
· £50 worth of other gifts and keepsakes from The keepsake Co.
· You little one will be featured on our website and all our promotional material (possibly even in some national mother and baby magazines) over the next 6 months.
· One place for mum or dad (worth £395 + VAT) on a Keepsake business course of their choice over the next 6 months.
So this total prize fund is worth well over £645!
If you would like to enter your little one in the competition (all children aged 0 – 4 are welcome) then please post their photograph on our Facebook Fanpage Wall including their name, age and whereabouts as the caption.
We will choose 6 semi finalists at the end of February and these pictures will be posted in an album on the Facebook page called “The Face of The Keepsake Co Semi Finalists” – that’s when we’ll be asking for your help. The 3 photos with the most votes (“likes”) on Facebook or votes that are emailed to us in at babymodel@thekeepsakeco.co.uk will go through to the final when we will ask our judging panel (which may include a well known mummy ) to choose the final winner.
The winner will be announced by 11th March.

Ahhhh… it’s that time of year again when we all start to turn our attention to our romantic relationships (even more than usual)!

We love Danielle Brown and she loves The Keepsake Co too!
Perhaps best known for being the sibling of superstar Ex Spice Girl Mel B is a star in her own right having appeared on Emmerdale and dabbling in children’s presenting too! She recently signed up to Peter Andre’s management company so the future looks bright for this lovely mummy of two.
We’ve just created these name tags for Danielle’s lovely little people Mimi and Hendrix and we’ll soon be adding fingerprint charms to her necklace too. When she saw the name tags Danielle said “What a lovely gift, thank you so much!” – we really hope she will love the fingerprint charms too… we’ll let you know!

Here’s a great opportunity for anyone who would like to start up a Jewellery Party Plan business or someone who’d like to offer some beautiful jewellery in their shop maybe.
We’ve got lots of mixed jewellery including cases which cost well over £1,000 that is looking for a new home. We’re moving on from our little shop in Shepton Mallet you see (lots of exciting things to come!!) and don’t have anywhere for it to go so we thought we’d offer it to you!

To kick off the new year in style we’d like to tell you about our new competition!
We’re looking for a fantastic design for a piece of keepsake jewellery so we thought we’d ask you to get involved!
If you could have a piece of fingerprint jewellery in any design, what would it look like? What shape would it be and what details would you include?
Even if you’re not particularly ‘arty’ we’d love to see your ideas!
If we choose your design as the winner we’ll make it for you for FREE and name it after you on our website too!
Just draw your design (a doodle is fine as long as we can see what you mean) or write a description and pop it on our Facebook page.
It must be different to anything already out there and not be copyrighted by any other company.

Happy New Year!
We thought it might be a nice idea to give little ones the opportunity to make some goals for the new year too! So we’ve put
this together for you to print. It might encourage them to think about the sorts of things they would like to do next year.
Maybe some goals could be things like smiling at people more often, saying please and thank you more, or always telling the truth or maybe their is something they’ve been working on in 2011 that they might like to complete next year?
New Year is a good time to think about the memories you’ve created too so why not encourage your child to think about their favourite moments on 2010 too? Was there a new addition to the family? Perhaps they achieved something they were really proud of? Why not share some of the things your child did that made you especially proud of them this year too? This will ensure they go to bed tonight feeling cherished and acknowledged and looking forward to doing more wonderful things next year!
Whatever you are doing this evening, enjoy yourselves and we’ll see you in 2011!

Our cufflinks made many a dad and grandad smile this Christmas
Well… I thought I’d pen a few words after the festivities of Christmas Day! What a wonderful day it was!
I had all my family around me for the day and together we all ate far too many mince pies, Aunt Victoria made the most incredible Christmas pudding which was received by lots of “oohs and ahhs” as it was brought through to the dining table aflame! And seeing the looks on the little lambs faces was something I’ll never forget… I think I must have taken 1,000 photographs!
At The Keepsake Co we’ve already received lots of lovely messages from mums and dads who were delighted to find fingerprint cufflinks or charm bracelets in their Christmas stockings this year and who now have friends who’d like one too! It seems that giving people the gift of beautifully captured memories that will last a lifetime will be something we do every year for a long, long time… and we’re all very proud of that!
Ah… here comes my sister Edna with another plate of chocolate coins… the diet starts… tomorrow!

Aren't they lovely? Matt Cardle & Rebecca Ferguson
Millions of people sat glued to their television screens this weekend to find out which of the 3 acts in the final would be crowned winner of the X Factor 2010! It was Baaa – rmy!
In the end it all came down to Matt Cardle and the lovely Rebecca Ferguson. I have to say I have been fans of these two since the very beginning. Mentored by the two loveliest judges, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole respectively, these are two “real people” with raw talent who come across in such a genuine and lovely way and wear their hearts on their sleeves.
They are both real family people too – Rebecca being mummy to two young children who must be bursting with pride over mummy’s amazing achievements right now! I wonder if she would like a piece of Keepsake jewellery from us? Matt Cardle was filmed celebrating with his family on stage soon after winning the title too.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to say CONGRATULATIONS to BOTH of these fantastic acts. I baaaa – leive that they will both go far. With voices like that they are world class!
